Did you know… An accountant invented bubble gum? Walter E. Diemer, an accountant, invented Dubble Bubble in 1928. He worked as an accountant at Fleet Corp but liked to experiment with gum recipes in his spare time. He accidentally stumbled upon a unique recipe. The only food coloring they had in the factory was pink which is the reason most bubble gum is pink today.
